A five minute animation sequence repeats through the evening  5-11PM interrupted once for a musical animation. Background lighting stays on to 12 midnight.

Music Synchronization:

With the addition of the Light-o-Rama animation controller came the ability to sync to music. Currently, this happens once a night in the early evening or by request. Two songs, Techno Jingle Bells, and O Holy Night are programmed. The music plays through an amp located in the control box.

Future upgrades:

This display went through a major upgrade for 2006 with the addition of the computer, the 80 channel main controller and the animated snowball fight. The traffic light controller was upgraded to interface with this new LOR controller and the street lantern sequences added to it.

But one is never done.

Future upgrade ideas include:

*A new train. This one is 15 yrs old and seen better days. Especially the engine.

*Converting the Ferris Wheel to a wind mill: The 10 yr. old wood wheel is warped and the slip-ring worn out. The gear reduction is only 2 yrs. old and will be re-used.

*Adding an FM Transmitter to replace the audio amp, (or use with it.), so visitors can hear the musical part through their car radios.

*Increase the main running animation sequence to 10 min.

  *Add some more musical animation.

  *Add an animated Santa workshop.

*Increasing the 11 tree animation to 16 or 22.

*Building an 8 ft. lighthouse with revolving light in a gingerbread theme.

*Add 16 or 32 more channels to do on/off/fade/twinkle and 8 more 12VDC capable channels.
